Injustice: Gods Among Us is a one vs one fighting game in which the player controls different attack styles to defeat their opponent. This game was developed by NetherRealm Studios and published on April 16, 2013. As characters perform special moves, block oncoming attacks, or get hit by the opponent, their “super meters” will fill up in which you can unleash strong special attacks on your opponent. It is recommended playing on a controller as it is much easier!Anyway, the original hint at the GOTY edition for Injustice: Gods Among Us arrived back in July, hinting that it would be arriving later this year. What we didn"t know was that the game would be arriving for more than just PC and the PS Vita, but that a next-generation rendition of the game would be in the works. This is great news for PS4 and Xbox One owners who would be lacking fighting games to flesh out their library.
There"s also that fighting game on the Xbox One from Ubisoft called The Fighter Within, but it"s a Kinect 2.0 fighting game and while it shows promise everyone kind of treats it like some worthless stepchild you send to military school and when they come out they make partying their life"s goal and most people would rather forget that kid ever existed. That"s not to say that the kid doesn"t have potential, it"s just... yeah, Injustice is the kid that got good grades in school and shows promise so you would rather spend more time with that kid instead.
But back to Injustice... the game features all of the popular DC Universe heroes and villains in a one-on-one, story-based fighting game that comes with plenty of mini-games, challenges and multiplayer competitive modes.

An expanded version of the game, titled Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition, was released in November 2013 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows. A free-to-play mobile app based on Injustice was also released for Android and iOS devices.
Players select one of several characters from the DC Universe to engage in combat, aiming to knock out their opponent. The game is set in a 2.5D environment; while character models and backgrounds are rendered in three-dimensional graphics, the characters are restricted to fight within a two-dimensional space. Injustice builds upon several aspects from NetherRealm Studios" previous title, Mortal Kombat, including its controls, game mechanics, narrative-driven campaign, and online functionality.
